Shrinkwrap 2008 Update:

Windy And Rainy Start To November Has Delayed Completion Of Scheduled Jobs. (See *Note On Weather Below)

Due to the demand for services and an increase in costs associated with our mobile business we suggest that new customers with vessels under 25 feet in length who would still like top quality, professional and mobile shrinkwrap installation contact: Scott's Boat Service

*Note on weather: We ask all customers who have scheduled shrinkwrap installation service with us to be patient. We will not install shrinkwrap covers when wind is over 10mph, when there is precipitation, or if boats are still wet from prior precipitation. This is to provide you with the best finished product possible. Wind over 10mph can damage to shrinkwrap plastic as it is being heated with the shrinkwrap heat tool. The cover will not properly tighten but will blow in the wind, creating a sagging cover, creating thin spots in the surface area of the plastic, or by blowing holes in the cover. Precipitation does not allow us to properly weld and tape the plastic when we cut excess material and create pleats. We do our best to stick to our schedule for installing shrinkwrap covers, but may be as many as 7 to 10 days behind in completing projects. We will complete all projects in the order that they are scheduled, but if the weather does not cooperate we will push you back that number of days. We will do our best to keep you updated with your targeted shrinkwrap date and thank you all for your understanding and for working with us for another fall season.

Shrinkwrap prices have gone up for 2008 so please go to our Shrinkwrap page for pricing information, including a printable sheet with helpful advice to prepare your boat prior to shrinkwrap installation. Scheduling, as always, is first come/first serve and is subject to weather conditions, so be sure to submit a contract along with your VISA/MC information as soon as possible.
